Please let us explain the essence of this kit is to move away from using chlorine as much as possible. All of our customers who have reviewed the kit agree that chlorine is still a great product to use for shock treatment; therefore to make the kit cost effective for everybody we state that you should use our Surex 2000 Chlorine Granules as a shock dose only whenever the pool is looking a little murky, cloudy and traces of algae forming. Chlorine is purely a back up for Surex OO2 Oxysure.

This method tried and tested for many years now is still the only kit out on the market which moves you away from using Chlorine as much as possible. If you prefer not to use Surex 2000 Chlorine granules for shock dosage then please apply a double dose of Surex OO2 but as this is your daily sanistiser it would be more cost effective to use Surex 2000.
